Don't read any further if you don't want to know more. While Far Cry 6 very much tells its own story, the ending offers a surprising connection to Far Cry 3 by reintroducing the voice of Vaas
16 November 2021 Mode Single-Player / Co-Op Protagonist Vaas Montenegro Genre Action-Adventure First-Person Shooter Open World Rogue-Like Vaas: Insanity is the first DLC to be released for Far Cry 6. It was released on November 16th, 2021. The release of this DLC also brought multiple Far Cry 3 themed items to Far Cry 6.
In fact, Vaas’ appearance could be confirming the theory that Far Cry 6 is set in an alternate timeline from the rest of the games where some of the previous Far Cry villains are still alive. This theory is further backed up by Pagan Min’s appearance on magazine covers across Yara, who also supposedly died at the end of Far Cry 4 .
Up until Far Cry 6, where Ubisoft decided to go full woke and make almost all female characters into some kind of super killers, I actually enjoy digging into the message behind Far Cry games. And based on Vaas' Insanity DLC along with the actual Far Cry 3, I'm going to explain how I see the game's characters and fractions resemble: -Vaas and Far Cry 6 - The Digital Foundry Tech Review. Due to the Far Cry 6 DLC, which includes Vaas as a playable character, it's not surprising that the developers referenced him in the campaign, but it's still fun to stumble upon the buried man and pose Dani behind him. It seems the company has more planned for Vaas, however. Far Cry 6's Pagan Min DLC is set to explore the thematic opposite of Vaas' DLC, with Pagan Min struggling to hold on while Vaas was ready to let go. Far Cry has always been known for its villains
