HeathHayes. Aug 24, 2014. #12. The DPF on the B8 3.0 TDI is a PITA to get out compared to a lot of cars. It sits at the back of the engine and requires removal of parts of the plenum chamber to get it out as well as some right fiddly nuts on the down pipe so you aren't comparing apples with apples.
Igot a Diagnostic test done by my local mechanic and I received the following fault codes: "P0401 Exhaust gas recirculation flow: insufficient detected". "P3130 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system regulation: control limit exceeded". "P2002 Particulate trap bank 1: efficienty below threshold".

thedelete kit is good, i bought mine from the same seller but i got the one with the boost nipple on the side so i could add a boost gauge, it comes with everything needed. remove egr (remember to retain rubber oring between egr and inlet) remove middle pipe from egr to egr cooler round the back. blank off egr cooler with the plate and 09lP.
