Far cry 4 won't launch. I had this issue when you open map editor it just kills your game to even use it. Normally the way to solve it is to uninstall, but recently today the game doesn't even properly uninstall and I have no idea why its happening and I can't seem to fix the issue. I have contacted Ubisoft support and not even that helps.
The version I have is NOT a torrent ;) *wink wink* it says it says the procedure entry point uplay release could not be located in the dynamic link library uplay r1 loader 6 4 dll EDIT - Probably just luck but I installed Ubisoft Connect Launcher from desktop mode, added it as a non steam game and then ran it from game mode under Proton Experimental. Then ran Far Cry 4 and it worked. Restarted the Steam Deck and made sure it still ran and it does. Hope this works for you also. uplay only far cry 4 users never got that update ..so no clue what steam PUSHED out with that patch that broke the game if you open the map editor The fix as well as links to the problem and how to correct it have been in the far cry 4 troubleshooting tips section pinned to the top of the player support forum for over 2 years

Solved the issue. Just went into the control panel and forced Fullscreen scaling onto the GPU for both my monitors, over-riding programs / games

you do not need to delete the whole folder .. doing so may screw up your game you only need to delete one file or edit it documents \ my games \ far cry 4 \ your uplay id represented as a seriess of letters and numbers they will be different from system to system \ in that folder your find a file called gamerprofile .xml
Now I wanted to try Far Cry 6, because I never played any Far Cry before but always wanted to try it. So I bought it on the Ubisoft Store with a great Black Friday deal. So now to the problem. The Game doesn't start. When I open it, a small Far Cry 6 Image comes up and thats it.

up top in steam look for the help section clik on that then clik system information let that load , only take a few seconds once that loads with your system information
